Are the Lopez blocks complete with sliding cars and stand-up boots/springs ?. First of all are they available still. I am currently rebuilding hull 518 and was interested in using the Lopez syst.

Yes, they are Lewmars..installed on springs (with rubber boot) fitted onto the cars. Still for sale for $250 for both.

Some people don't like these....those people are usually very strong, have a seven-foot reach, and have been racing most of their lives.

Personally, I love these things, and you can do a lot with them...particularly when you are single handing.
