Hi Sam,
I have a Tohatsu 4hp 4 stroke standard shaft outbpoard for sail. It was purchased about 3 years ago, but has only been used less than 6 hours (going to and from the start line at lake tahoe). Never seen salt water and in excellent condition - like new! Comes with instrctuioon manual, tool kit, spate plug, etc. I used it on a Cal 20 I owned previously so can't assure it's working with the J-24, but if you have the typivcal stern bracket it should be fine. (I use a Honda 2 hp on the J24.) I'm located in Nevada, near Reno and Lake Tahoe. I haven't looked at shipping it so don't know how or how much it would cost. I am asking $850. If you want to see what it looks like, check out the Mercury motors at West marine - they are identical with the same castings, etc.
