North Sails Kevlar Main and Genoa. Purchased in the fall of 2005 – used just one season. Kevlar sails are FAR more durable and hold shape far better in a wide range of wind conditions than conventional Dacron and Mylar sails. These sails are the “Ferrari” engine for PHRF racing. Note: Kelvar sails are not class legal, so this set is not for you if you want them for class/fleet racing. For everything else they are the best way to go. Class legal jennies last less than one season before they start to loose shape and speed. The Kevlar sails should last for years holding both shape and speed. We are selling them because we are shifting our focus to fleet racing, and as a result, we haven’t used them at all in the past 9 months. $1,000.00 each

To Bill Taylor I have recently bought a 1978 J /24 and would like to upgrade the sails.Do you have any pictures of the Kevlar sails,does the main have any reef points, my email is robertstruthers@dccnet.com. Thanks, Robert.
