Description: Add to the keel plan dimensions on the maximum leading edge and bottom length, and to control the shape of the keel bopttom.
Current Rule: No dimensions
Proposed Rule: Add to the keel drawing the maximum leading edge length: 1285 mm and the maximum keel bottom length: 400 mm
Add to the keel bottom shape drawing the tolerances as per measurement manual: 90` max / 10-15 mm min/max wide flat bottom
Reasons
a)To be consistent with the One Design Spirit of the Class.
b) To have better control of the boat's weight distribution.
c) To avoid keel shapes different of the design intention.
d) To give the measurers the Rules to reject any boat presented out of the design intention
ITC Position: Approved
