Doug Hosford Posts:28 08/18/2007 9:20 PM   The measurement specifications are in the J/24 rules Appendix A. The luff measurement is in there but the J/24 measures a half girth which is not the same as half the girth (triangle vs straight line). Be sure you communicate that you want a rating for one-design class configuration. That keeps the advantage of being able to use all the tuning information available for the J/24.
