Where Can I find the special nuts that were used on the inside of the jib track machine screws?
Mine have failed.. It was nasty the track pulled up from the deck....(

Jimmie,

Go to Fastenal.  I believe they are a 1/4 inch bolt with an acorn nut.  Give them a shot!

No they are a flanged nut that goes up into the underside of the deck... they just look like a flat washer from below.

It sounds like you have T-Nuts, but my boat has Acorn nuts like described above.  If there rusted out they probably were the plated ones you get in a hardware store not Stainless.  Jamestown Distribters has Stainless T-nuts if thats what you have\want.

Also try Lowes.  They carry stainless steel screws, nuts, bolts, washers, and machine screws as well.  Of course you can get them from West Marine as well on line or in one of their stores.  Stainless is much more available now than a few years ago.  But what ever you do, don't use steel.  You will regret it.
