I ask a lot of dumb questions.  Here’s another one:

I’m replacing my spreaders and thru-bar.  My old set up has a bolt through the spreader end and thru-bar to secure the spreader to the thru-bar.  There is no hole drilled in the new thru-bar to place a bolt and secure them together.
