I am interested in converting to the "new style" hatch to give my crew more room to cross under the boom. I see Waterline has a conversion kit for $2000. Has anyone used it before & want to share their experience? I remember there being an article about the conversion process in the old forums...does anyone know where I can find it? Thanks!

I bought the conversion kit and installed it last year. It went pretty well but takes a lot of time. I think I put about 20 hours into it not incluing any paint work.
I didn't have much choice as all of the wood core in the old hatches was so rotten more than half of it was missing.
