Subject: An Index of past J/24 maintenance articles

May I suggest the forum include an index of class articles on boat maintenance,etc. There are great articles on this topic in the class magazine but these are basically inaccessable unless you keep the old magazines on hand. Providing an index AND an archive of articles would be a tremendous help to class members.

Dear Lambert,

Now that your duties as NAs Chair are over, does this mean you are looking for a new project to volunteer for? I think its a great idea, but we need volunteers to do the legwork/compliation. Since many of the old magazines are no longer available, it would be good to scan in some of those articles your talking about as pdfs for reference by our current member base.

Also - have you seen Scott Waterhouse's post on the "everybody from the Sailing Source Forum" - he has been working on archiving a lot of the good information that was on the old forum. So there should be some new areas coming on this forum soon.

Let me know if you've got time on your hands ;-) and we can keep you busy......
