The class has a number of drawings in the Class Rules and Measurement Manual. The originals seem to be missing and we need help from someone in the class who is proficient in Autocad to reconstruct the drawings and set them up for on-going maintenance.

There will be an initial rush to get PLAN A done to support a rule change request. The remainder can be done at a more relaxed pace to be in time for the next printing of the rule book and gradual updates to the Measurement Manual.

If you have the skills and can take this on, we'd really appreciate the help. Please contact me at the email address below.

Thanks

Lorne,

I can do this for the J24 org. I have a copy of AutoCad & use it almost daily for my work. I am also the fleet captain for Fleet 21, District 14 in Austin, Texas.

David, and Lorne,

I don't have a copy of Auto Cad, however I have used the program in my work as well. Please let me know if I can be of assistance. There will be some things that you will want to address and decide up front. Auto Cad has layering which would allow break out of details of the boat. But you need to think about that first before you put lots of time in drawing things up.

Regardless I would like to have a copy of the final drawings.
