I hope it's winter that has everyone quiet on this forum- we need to rev up the discussion and re-build j-24 knowledge on-line. At sailing source, the j-24 discussion was the most used and valuable of all the forums. Let's get going- and this time make sure we back up the files and save all this great knowledge for future sailors!

Greg,
I have a back up of the old forum up to Dec. 2003. Problem has been how to process the ton of information and knowledge into some useable/referencable (?) format. Even more challenging because the most recent post was at the top, with the original query at the bottom. Some of us have tried to reformulate the information into a accessible form with no success.

The Class is open to anyone who would have the time and technical expertise to get this great base of information back available for everyone. If you have any ideas or want to volunteer, please email me at nzangerle@yahoo.com

Nancy,

I have been spending quite a bit of time going through the posts and creating some FAQ style articles. I have all the posts mostly organized now and am in the process of compling the posts into articles. When I get a little further I will start sending them to the webmaster so they can get posted to the site. As of now I have 2 complete articles and another couple that are in the final stages. It has taken a while but it has actually been fun reading through all that great info.
