Do the class rules permit the use of a GPS based device that only displays speed and heading? No position fixing.
The Nauteek SC100 appears to only display speed and course, no position fixing or VMG ....
The distributors of the Rock Box are willing to re-program one of their devices to do the same.
It appears these devices meet the intent of the rules anyway. I am looking for a speedo that does not require a thru hull transducer and the above seem to be the best alternatives. Speed Mate is out of production.
