How to take care of that hole in the water in which you pour money
I found a J24 for sale and noticed there are some cracks in the bilge around the rear keel bolts. The rest of the bilge looks solid. The boat is on a trailer and the bilge was full of water. There does not appear to be any water leaking from around the keel outside. There are some hairline cracks where the keel meets the hull. Just wondering if this is typical of J24s.

Looks like typical cracking in the vermiculite well. The water may have froze and cracked the fill. The hairline crack along the rudder and hull is also normal as long it’s truly hairline. Make sure the hull is dry and you should have a decent boat.
