2017 World Council Meeting in October

The 2017 IJCA World Council Meeting will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Fraglia Vela of Riva del Garda in Italy (home of the 2018 J/24 World Championship). Make sure a representative from your NJCA plans to attend. The preliminary schedule includes a welcome drink on Friday, October 20 and dinner in town at local restaurants, ahead of the day-long meeting on Saturday, October 21. Attendees should send confirmation of their participation to the IJCA Class Office at director@j24class.org. As established in the IJCA regatta rotation, a country from a continent “Other than Europe or North America” will host the 2021 J/24 World Championship. The World Council will vote on the host at this meeting. Interested parties should submit a proposal by September 1, 2017 to director@j24class.org, following the IJCA Regatta Regulations posted at http://www.j24class.org/rules-regulations/regatta-regulations/.
