American Keith Whittemore Dominates Kieler Woche

Twenty-eight J/24s competed at Kieler Woche in Kiel Germany during the last week of June. Keith Whittemore of the USA crushed the fleet, and was able to sit out the final (11th) race as his discard. Whittemore racked up seven bullets and ended with just 17 net points. Duncan McCarthy of Great Britain captured the silver spot with 50 points, and German Frithjof Schade was third with 63 points.
