Windy Chester Race Week

Rain, cold and expected gusts of 30+ knots per hour held back some Chester Race Week fleets, but others headed out on the water to finish their races on the fourth and final day of the regatta hosted by Chester Yacht Club in Nova Scotia, Canada from August 16-19. In the four-boat J/24 one-design fleet, HypeWave led by Chris Veinot posted impressive scores of [2] -2 -1 -2 -1 -1 -1 -2 -2 -1 -1 -2 for 16 net points, but still narrowly beat Jonathan Reid’s Barely Legal who tallied 1 -1 -[3] -1 -2 -2 -2 -3 -1 -2 -2 -1 for 18 points.
