On behalf of the Board of Governors of the US J/24 Class Association, I am pleased to tell you about a few recent changes for the US class. First, and most important, we have hired Eric Faust as our new Executive Director. Eric was most recently the second in command at the North American Laser Class and has also been active sailing J/24's. I am very excited to have Eric on board and am confident that he will do a great job for the J/24 class. Eric lives in Austin, Texas, and the class office is en route there.

At the annual meeting of the Board of Governors in Baltimore last Saturday, we elected a new slate of class officers.

I want to take this opportunity to thank our past president Nadine Franczyk for her outstanding contributions to the class and for her tireless efforts during the past few months when we didn't have an Executive Director. Well done, Nadine!
