| The
2013 World Championship will be in
Howth, Ireland and by the IJCA Regatta Regulations, it is expected
that the U.S. will have an allocation of 8 berths.
When this occurs (i.e. Worlds outside the Continent
/ Hemisphere per the IJCA Regatta Regulations) the allocation
scheme has been determined to allow one berth for each regional
championship along with the other major championships in the U.S.
This totals 8 berths.
The Qualifying Events for the 2013 World Championship
will be as follows:
1. Midwinter Championship – 1 berth
2. U.S. National Championship – 1 berth
3. North American Championship – 1 berth
4. Great Lakes Regional Championship - 1 berth
5. Western Regional Championship - 1 berth
6. Southeast Regional Championship - 1 berth
7. Southwest Regional Championship - 1 berth
8. Northeast Regional Championship - 1 berth
